What does the Zone 2 app track?

It tracks live heart rate zones during workouts, time spent in each zone, weekly zone goals, workout progress, and trends including zone minutes, resting heart rate, and VO₂ max.

Do I need an Apple Watch?

No. The iPhone app can work with compatible Bluetooth heart rate monitors for live zone reporting. The Apple Watch app adds wrist-based tracking, haptics, dedicated workout screens, and iPhone mirroring.

Can the app alert me when my heart rate zone changes?

Yes. The app offers optional audio feedback, while Apple Watch can provide optional haptic feedback and alerts.

Can I customize my heart rate zones?

Yes. Zone calculation includes automatic, semi-automatic, and manual options. Automatic calculation can use Heart Rate Reserve with maximum and resting heart rate.

Does it support interval workouts?

Yes. You can create simple workouts with warm-up, work, recovery, cool-down, repeat counts, segment durations, and target zones.

Does Zone 2 connect to Strava?

The current App Store listing says Zone 2 can upload distance workouts created in the app to a connected Strava profile.

Which devices are supported?

The current listing requires iOS 17 or later for iPhone and watchOS 10 or later for Apple Watch. It also lists Apple Vision compatibility with visionOS 1.0 or later.
